I'm not sure if this should be here or in the weight gain section. I'm posting here because I want to go for delicious/nutritious over sheer calorie content.
My wonderful girlfriend will soon starting a little gaining regime and we have been talking about weight gain shakes. She is interested in gaining some muscle as well as fat so we want it to have some solid protein content.
Here's what we were thinking.
.5 cups coconut milk
1.5 cups Oikos brand Greek Yoghurt (low fat high protein)
4 servings of fruit
maybe wheat grass and spinach
50g of protein powder (probably brown rice)
=1200-1500 calories I think
My GF is a total foodee so like I said I want it to be delicious and nutritious. Any advice on what to put in it? I'm not going to put things like ice cream in it.
