As happened in California over the last 20 years it looks like changing demographics and GOP anti-Hispanic animus will result in Texas becoming a solid blue state within the next ten or fifteen years.

With only 11% of Republicans being Hispanic, Black, or other race it looks like the GOP current strategy may win them another election or two but in the end is suicidal.

Given that the GOP's ultra-conservative policies have also alienated the moderate Republicans of upstate New York. It looks like the nation's three largest states could soon all be blue.
