:eat2: I have always had chocolate cake on my birthday. Last year, I discovered a chocolate cake that is pure heaven - to me anyway. Hubby and I were at El Chico's at the local mall and I wanted something special for dessert. I noticed a 7 layer chocolate cake on the menu and decided I needed a chocolate fix and ordered the cake. OH - MY - GOODNESS! :smitten: The layers are moist and a brownie like consistency and the frosting on all sides and between layers just melts in your mouth and is sooooo chocolatey (almost fudge like). We happen to know that El Chico's and Spaghetti Warehouse are owned by the same company, so when I won a free dinner at Spaghetti Warehouse, I again ordered the cake - it was so wonderful. I am curious, though, does anybody know who supplies the cakes for these two restaurants? I'd love to find out who the supplier is so that maybe I can purchase same cake for myself. Anyway - if anyone else has ever experienced this cake - let me know what you thought.
