I've been meaning to post about this for a few days, but have been in training for a new job like 14 hours a day so I'm a little behind...
I was flipping around tv the other night and came on the show "the biggest loser". I've never really watched it, but stopped on it for a few minutes. This show has 2 teams of families and they were talking about why they were there to lose weight. One team was a dad, mom, and teenage daughter. The mother said that they were there because they haven't seen their son in over 2 years (he's in the military) and they don't want him to be ashamed of them when he does come home. That statement really stuck with me and I don't know why. When I heard it I thought it was ridiculous. These people were actually not that big and really looked like an average family. I think I'll be staying away from this show from now on.
