My purpose here is to discuss the different types of reputation that is awarded to the posters of these glorious forums for producing posts of significance.
Indeed, if one observes the various personages who have achieved reputation, and then review their written work, it seems there are a wide variety of discussion methods that can obtain these prized, verdant columns of green and orange:
1.) The Traditional "ZOMG Good Point" Rep, which seems most common
2.) The "ZOMG That Was HILARIOUS" Rep
3.) The "WTFBLOG That's A long, insightful Post" Rep
4.) The "I agree with you, ROFL" Rep
5.) The "You like Dinosaurs TOO?" Rep
Any others? and please discuss what type of rep you think you have, or would indeed like to attain.
