I've been wondering about this recently.
I know certain types of livestock, especially cows, are an obscenely large resource drain, and the major factory farms are having some truly disgusting effects on the world food supply, but I know next to nothing about this subject, and am having trouble finding any information on it.
Basically, how does what we eat, and how much of it, affect the rest of the world?
