Hi, fellow Dimensions-ers.

I'd like to let you know our act, The Maxes www.TheMaxes.com
are performing our uptempo, tuneful, lyrical style of bluesy-rockabilly-poppy songs this coming Wednesday at MAKOR on Manhattan's Upper West Side. Makor's at 35 West 67th Street between Central Park West and Columbus Ave. We're co-billed with Dave's True Story www.DavesTrueStory.com. Admission's 12 bucks, showtime's at 9 PM (Dave's True goes on at 8). Dinner/drinks are available, proper attire is required, etc.

FYI---the Maxes are the new configuration of NYC band Josh Max's Outfit, the husband-and-wife team of Josh Max and Julie James. He writes the songs, plays guitar and sings, and she's a plus-sized ball of dynamite with a set of pipes that can be heard from Queens to Fresno with no microphone.

We have a new album currently being mixed for an early Spring 2006 release, featuring cover art by Dimensions' own Les Toil---12 new songs to put a beat in your feet and a whistle on yer kisser.

It's our first show since this summer's appearance at Central Park Summerstage.

Here's an article written by our own Boteroesque Babe about us, when we were Josh Max's Outfit:

Hope to see some East Coast Dimensions folks at the show, and even if you can't make it, you can sign our mailing list at the website www.TheMaxes.com to be apprised of future shows, CD release, news, an entertaining blog, etc. etc.

(That is, if you are so inclined...!)
