I am single and pretty happy with myself and my life. I don't need to be in a relationship, but truthfully, I've been single for almost three years and I'd like to be....well, not single anymore. I love being in a relationship.
I've been feeling a bit down about it lately.
I don't want this to disintegrate into a coupled vs. uncoupled thread by any means - I'm very happy for everyone here who is in love and with somebody. But I could really use some reminders of some of the good things about single right about now -- like most things, I think we tend to focus on the negative aspects far too much.
So I'll start. One good thing about being single is that I can play any song really loudly twelve times in a row without worrying about annoying anyone. (Not even my dogs).
