I saw someone in another thread use the word "fit" to mean "thin", and I wanted to point this out: technically, "fit" does NOT mean "thin". It means someone who exercises a lot or is physically active. This is often someone who is also thin, but its not always.

This is a pet peeve of mine and has been ever since I got physically active (but was still rather fat)...the diet set and the fitness nuts misuse the term and it really pisses me off! I just didn't want to see anyone here falling for it. You CAN be fit AND fat!:)
