My cat is absolutely miserable--and so am I. He had surgery today by having a serious cyst removed from his back side area, and now he's expected to wear one of those safety cone collars to prevent him from messing with his stitches. Only problem is he's flipping out because of this big uncomfortable scary thing around his neck. I can't believe the vet really expects Marble to keep this one for a full 10 days! He runs around the house freaking out and he violently bangs into the furniture with it causing him to hurt himself!!

So please tell me, is there an alternative to this evil contraption?? He can't even eat with this on because the collar prevents the bowl from getting close enough!! And it takes WAAAAY too long to keep taking the collar on and off.

To speak in the vernacular, this is fucked.
