At 5 am I was awoken by my brother throwing open my bedroom door and telling me to get up because the neighbors house was on fire. You've never seen a fat girl move so fast in your LIFE!
We live in the country and of course it's been dry..so we were worried about the fire spreading to us.
Thankfully, it didn't. My brother was on his way to work when he spotted the flames and he called 911 and even drove to the house to make sure that no one was home. I'm very proud of him..of course he's going a 100 miles an hour and I'm waiting for him to crash this afternoon.
Sadly, the house is probably a total loss. We rely on volunteer firemen and it took them at least 25 mins to get to the house and get it contained.
All is well now, but it was definitely a scary situation this morning!
