My mom called Friday night saying she was feeling ill. We went out and got her some ginger ale and reminded her about trying to eat something even though feeling ill as she is diabetic. She called yesterday afternoon and was throwing up a brownish bile which the doctor at the walk in clinic we took her to figured was blood mixed with stomach acid. He sent her to emergency and thanks to his call ahead we only had to wait an hour to get assistance. She is i ICU right now as her hemoglobin's dropped and her blood sugar all over the place last night to monitor her well. This afternoon got up for a quick visit before they took her for tests including a scope to see what the problem could be. SHe did have a bleeding ulcer at one time about 7 or 8 years ago..
She has a myriad of health problems so of course one thing like this can cause problems with her other issues and as she is elderly of course I am worried. Any positive energy sent our way would be sooo appreciated!
