Preheat oven to 350. Generously grease and flour two round 9 inch pans.
In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, 1 1/3 cups sugar, 4 teas. baking powder, 1 teas. baking soda, 1 1/2 teas. allspice, 1 teas. cinnamon, and 1/2 teas ground cloves.
Add 1 can Campbell's Tomato Soup, and 1/2 cup shortening.
Beat at low to medium speed for 2 minutes.
Add 2 eggs and 1/4 cup water.
Beat 2 minutes more.
Pour into pans. Bake for 35 to 40 mintes. Cool 10 mintues in pans before removing. Cool.
Frost with a vanilla cream cheese frosting, or dust with powdered sugar.
