Me and my partner both put on a lot of weight after we got together. We both got comfortable and both got lazy. We are big foodies so of course, together, we just pigged out day and night. Since my partner was diagnosed with diabetes, it was a bit of a wake-up call to shed some pounds. We've both been working hard and are finally down to a weight that;s healthy. We aren't skinny but who cares, that's not for me. We are both happy with our weights now, looking and feeling better than we have done in years. I'm still a rotund man but I look healthy and that's what matters. I have been able to buy designer clothes that I can actually fit in so that has helped too with my confidence. This is the same for my partner too. There is nothing wrong with being a bit on the large side, as long as you feel good, confident and healthy. One thing that used to get to me was not being able to fit in nice shoes, having to wear big sandals all the time. Since I've lost the weight, I must have gone down a shoe size and the width of my feet has definitely shrunk a lot. I've just had a bit of money come through from my old job so am looking forward to re-kitting out my entire wardrobe now I'm at a weight I can maintain and feel happy with. Looking at some used gucci shoes for sale that I might buy. Anyone else have problems getting into nice shoes?
