I tried one tonight.

Mashed sweet potatoes with chipotle pepper and adobo sauce. Wow, it was good and different. I made a batch to go with grilled pork chops and mixed greens.

- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 canned chipotle pepper, minced up
- 1 teaspoon adobo sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

You steam the cubed sweet potato in a steamer basket over boiling water until fork tender (about twenty minutes). Then mash or rice with a ricer adding the butter. Add the minced up pepper and pepper packing sauce, and salt, and stir/fluff with a fork.

Very good, a little spicy, but that's A-OK in my book. It went very well with pork would go well with a steak too.

It's the first one of his show recipes I have really tried, and I am going to go back and browse the website for more to try.
