So, I belong to a size activism group on Facebook, and one of our members was the subject of a documentary called "Twirly Girl".

My friend Lori from the group is not only a plus sized pole dancer, she's an instructor, and a damn good one at that. In the video, she discusses her journey with weight loss and gain and eventually having gastric bypass. She also talks about gaining weight after surgery and funding HAES (Health At Every Size). And while some of the focus of the video is about her weight loss, that wasn't why she started dancing.

At any rate, next time someone says you can't be fat and fit, let them look at this video.

I hope you enjoy the video.
