One of the best films I've seen in recent memory, and wonderfully ironic casting of John Hurt as the psychopathic, tyrannical Chancellor in this very Orwellian film.
It is based upon the comic by Alan Moore and David Lloyd (which I'm reading right now in my spare time (ha!). The film had it all: a message, heart, meaning, depth, interesting plot, top-notch acting, stunning visuals, but with just enough grit to make it more real instead of ultra-polished Hollywood fare.
I highly recommend it and will definitely be seeing it again.
