My take: I think that could be true, but then again, not so much. Reuben Studdard (where is he?) won the first season, which is the only season I watched, back when it was a new and exciting thing
and Mandisa made waves for something about her attitude.
I think the ratings are low and they need a headline. Thats my personal opinion, but i may be the wrong person to ask.
