I'm a cookie baker. Except for my occasional blunders [see Cooking brain farts post], I'm pretty good so I'm always looking for challenges and new recipes.
My favorite magazine is last year's Martha Stewart Holiday that was filled with cookie recipes. It has become almost a cookie bible, and I wish I'd had the foresight to buy a 2nd copy to rip apart and put into a binder. [One copy just sold on E-bay for $26, so I think I'll just be really careful with mine!]
Most places, though, have the same old cookies, so I was really happy when I came across this page: Washington Post Holiday 2006 Cookies . There are things like root beer cookies and raspberry goat cheese meringues. Totally not the typical stuff, for those of you looking for something unique.
