This afternoon, Sandie and I were able to get into our new house and take some room measurements. And later on, we went to look for furniture.
We went to one furniture store in our new home town - the stuff was nice, but that was it. So later on, we drove to a larger town about 30 miles away. It was there we saw a billboard along the highway for a furniture store we had never heard of before - we went there, and the stuff was BEAUTIFUL!
And right in the middle of the showroom, was a purple sofa with matching love seat. And toward the back was a dining room table, chairs and matching buffet that was exactly what we wanted.
So we ordered all of them. They'll all be delivered as soon as we close on the house.
And we found the stove we want to buy for the kitchen - stainless steel, self-cleaning oven, four burners plus a center griddle. Now to find a stainless steel fridge to match...
