Wearing size 12 steel toed shoes raises blood sugar. (This happened several years ago)

On a visit to the physician I was weighed and it was discovered that my weight had increased by 3 pounds and my blood sugar levels had increased. The doctor then pointed out that even that 3 pound weight can have a serious effect on blood sugar levels.

I told him that I was running a test. The last time I had been weighed I had not worn my steel toed size 12 shoes. When he weighed me without my size 12 steel toed shoes. I had actually lost 3 pounds of weight.

I then pointed out to the doctor that losing weight had caused my blood sugar to go up unless it was wearing steel toed shoes caused my blood sugar to go up. The doctor was not happy.
