A friend of mine recounted an incident that happened to her some time ago. There was a handyman at her home fixing some device/appliance or something, and the guy was flirting up a storm. Somehow the topic came upon size, and she told him how much she weighed.

cue screeching record.

It seems like the minute he realized exactly how big she was numerically (despite the fact that all evidence to her size was right there in front of his face), he changed his tune, and the flirting ebbed to nothingness.

So, have you ever had something similar happen to you? Someone paying less (or even more) attention to you once they realized exactly (exactly as in weight) how big you were (or weren't as the case may be)?
