Weight Watcher's new advertising campaign tells us what we have known for a long time...that diets such as this have no long term (or for some, short term, ha) success.
As a marketing ploy it's pretty genius...take your failure as a product and use it to sell more of your product!
This coupled with Slimfast's new marketing stance of not wanting to be thin but "thinner" make me think that people are wising up about diet programs...but that the diet companies are wising up too and becoming a lot more crafty in their marketing ploys.
Anyone seen these commercials? Any thoughts?
