I met a woman in Philly who found a really sweet white cat that appears to be hearing impaired (not fully deaf). She wanted to find the cat a good home, and even went out and got the cat spayed, vaccinated and FELV tested.

I agreed to give the kittie a good home. She found her very thin and hungry, and seemed to have recently given birth. I relate to this cat especially since we're both hearing impaired (!)

Anyway, once we get her (next week after we move in...she's holding her for me till we move), I'll try to figure out how to post a pic.


BTW white cats with blue eyes are often but not always deaf. When they have one blue eye and one of another color (usually orange or green), they tend to be hearing impaired or deaf on the side where the blue eye is, and have normal hearing on the other side.
