What does Martin Luther King Day mean to you?

I just watched it, as televised on CNN, and I can only imagine how much this means to others, and am curious. I loved watching the crowd shots, wondering what it must have felt like to have been there! Was anyone there from this board?

I am moved deeply by the times with the inauguration tomorrow and MLK DAY today, perhaps it is because I am so close in Baltimore, that it is all around me. I am just so filled with gratitude and joy. Would love to hear others thoughts.
