What to wear with a corset

I'd like to wear my corset "out" more. So what does one wear with a leather corset? I have a shrug, but it is velvet, and I'm thinking velvet and leather do not mix.

Could I wear something like this? Do PVC and leather mix? I'm kinda lost here, as this is the only leather garment I own.
