If you could change one thing about your job, a past job, or working in general, what would it be?
Play boss for a few moments, what changes would you want to see?
For me, I'd definitely institute personal/mental health days and a personalized work schedule (to a point). Something like 1 a month. There are some days that I just don't feel like I can get things done, and other days I'm super motivated. It seems, at least to me, a waste of productivity to be so rigid on a work schedule. I'd like to not come in on days that I know I'm not focused, and work longer others. I added to a point because for collective work, schedules do have to be coordinated in some way. I can't expect my co-workers to be cool with me working midnights in an office!
I'd also have some sort of a healthy food allowance/food share going on. So people are actually taking the time to eat balanced meals and not sucking down coffee all day. The food would be there, ready, and easy to eat.
