In Rememberance
We were in Whole Foods Market this past weekend stocking up on things I need. We spent a LOT of money - but we are stocking our kitchen so it really was no big deal. As we are leaving the store with a basket full of food - I hear this women yelling "SIR - SIR..." She was trying to get Wayne's attention. Finally I told Wayne (he was pushing the cart to the truck) "That woman is trying to get your attention." He stopped and walked over to her. She preceded to ask him "How much did you pay for all that food??" Being terminally nice Wayne told her and she went - "WOW - that's how much I spend per month!!" Then she proceeded to stare at me for a few moments smiled and turned to go to her car.
NOW - I try to be a reasonable person - but what kind of question is that to ask a total stranger? What would you have said. I know I would have told her it's none of her business.
I don't understand people.
