I was wondering what kind of beds you folks have.

My wife & I are kinda big, and we were considering a Tempurpedic. However, epinions.com has scores of people saying that it breaks down after 3 years, faster if yer bigger. I called tempurpedic and they said there was a "weight limit" of 350 lbs. per side. Well, that rules out that, then, doesn't it?

(In addition...how can any normal sized couple "do it" on a bed like that? You'd have to be jolly skinny / small for that...and relatively motionless. Do they not design beds to handle that kind of stress??)

Anyway, I'd like to know, since I'll be needing something good to sleep on soon.

I don't know what's the real problem...our current bed sags in the middle, but I don't know if that's because it's a lousy matress, because we have a combined weight of about 600 lbs, or what.

Also...if anyone knows of a particularly good design for a bed *frame,* I'd like to know too.

Thanks fer any advice you can offer! I'm still kinda confused as to what to do about a bed, and figured y'all would know best.
