What's the difference between a hooker and golddigger?

So I'm driving on the road and I pass by a neighborhood and see one or two skanky looking chicks walking on the corner--possibly hookers. More than likely these females will be arrested in their lifetime for prostitution.

My question, what is the difference between a golddigger and prostitute? Isn't it the same thing--after all, the end result is money. Why is one arrested while the other one goes free. At least the hooker is directly upfront with what she wants........
