I'm not talking about your Dims friends so much as the people you hang out with in the flesh, as it were. Jamie made a post a few days ago about gay men as friends, which got me to thinking, and then Suzie Q's related thread made me think even more about the people we unconsciously gravitate towards. Because of this I realized that almost all my really close friends are women, something I had never really thought about before I don't know why that is; it just is. I also notice that my friends are pretty diverse in regard to age, ethnicity, and sexual orientation, but they are all on virtually the same economic, social, and educational levels as I am. Is this your experience, too? Do your friendships indicate a pattern, or are they entirely random?
