Why does the US keep these food secrets to themselves!

OK..so I am in the US at the moment.
Things I have discovered since being here:
Twinkies do not live up to the hype.
Sliders are the greatest idea known to man.
Snapple tastes good.
Your Coke here tastes a bit odd.
Curly fries at Jack in the Box taste amazing.
Cookie dough tastes better cooked!
If you leave food in the hostel shared fridge it will slowly go missing.
Baja Fresh made the BEST Chicken Burger I have EVER tasted.
Peanut Butter M&Ms....umm...export please.

I am sure that I will add to this list. What other things are 'must try' items?
