I was reading up on Stonewall and i am so thankful to those who fought and still continue to fight in smaller ways to ensure i have the freedom to express my sexuality.
When i read that someone shouted "Why don't you do something?" (which it had been rumoured was the 'begining' of the riots), i cried. I know it was obviously a 'tipping point', kinna like Rosa Parks refusing to move but it made me wonder a bit about who this woman was.. i want to know more about the riots too, so if anyone has any interesting links that would be great. If anyone was alive when they were happening and wants to talk about it.. then even better!
