for women to criticize men about their weight.

I've witnessed it with my mom and one of my best friends. Granted, I love and admire these people very much, but it really irks me that they both bring up points to their male partners. "Oh you've had xx points, no more points today!" (I hate Weight Watchers).

However, my friend did push the envelope too far, scolding her partner for having one too many helpings of food and telling him he'd gone over points.

Not only do I find it rude and hurtful, but it bothers me as well. I'm borderline anorexic and still struggle with my body. I try to eat as healthy as possible and excercise but there's always that nagging "your not thin enough, fat is never okay" voice in my head. I think body policing not only makes the person its directed at uncomfortable, but everyone in the room as well.

Thoughs? Anyone else deal with this?
