Wide width socks?

Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? Obviously there are wide width shoes, so does anyone know where I can purchase wide width socks? I don't wear them often, but when I do, I have an imprint of the sock line in my skin; it's almost as if it cuts off circulation. Oh and if anyone knows where I can find wide width ankle socks that would be good to.
