What is your favorite wine to drink (depending on food pairings or not)?
I love red wine...not so much a white wine kind of girl. My favorite red wine is Barolo (Italian). It's more on the dry side, but is full-bodied and goes great with sweet things. My second favorite red wine comes from France. I picked up a bottle of Mouton de Mouton Rothschild (Cabernet Sauvignon) while in France a few months back. It has a wonderfully rich flavor to it...more on the dry side again. But I love to pair this wine with steak. My third favorite wine is locally produced here in Missouri...Les Bourgeosis River Boat Red. I enjoy this wine when I'm in the mood for a sweet wine.
