While I was preoccupied with the latest American election it seem that the folks back home in Alberta elected a Muslim, of Tanzanian decent, who is also a member of the liberal elite (Harvard's Kennedy School and teaches non-profit management) mayor of Calgary. CALGARY! -- redneck capital of the north.

Guess Canadians are still quite different. We may drive the same pick-up trucks and wear the same cowboy boots but we're not just like Americans.
