Witness to the Thickness
....at least until spring. As you may know, I'm an architect, and I'm building a hospital in the rural northern region of Rwanda. It's super fun, I'm learning tonnes, both culturally and technically.
Anyway, I ought to be sharing hospital photos--which will come soon as well--but I have such great pics from our football game this weekend that I'm dying to share them first. I'm playing on the local 3rd Division team here, which is a big deal to this little town (and totally insignificant to the world of international football). Still, its fun to have kids shout your name when you walk through main street!
So here are some photos from our 4-2 win over a team from the Easter Province. There is one of me right before I missed an opportunity to score, one from immediately following the game with kids rushing the field, and one of me in celebration with my teammates.
