A few months ago, I attempted to dye my hair to a chestnut brown color. I used Feria and the result was okay for a week but then faded back to a lighter brown with a lot of red/blonde tones bleeding through.
I gave up and added blonde highlighting around my face recently. I'm sick of the lighter hair and I don't want to go back to black. I want something darker but can't afford a professional colorist right now. Tips, hints, brand suggestions would all be wonderful. If you must know, my natural hair color is a light brown with a lot of natural sandy blonde highlights.
