By my calendar, the 2016 elections are still 19 months away. I don't think any of us is quite up for 19 months of discussion the way that posts have been going lately.
First, the term "Prog" now gets to hit the trash can along with Rethuglican and libtard. Its heavy-handed overuse has devolved into the sort of name-calling that is specifically against the rules. Use of the term "Prog" is now infractable.
Second, as I noted, we're more than a year and a half out from elections. I should not have to spell out a prohibition on the use of the term "bat-shit crazy," but a poster used it recently, so I will. Use of the description "bat-shit crazy" is now infractable.
Third, I am monitoring the number of each regular's thread starts and thread titles and will continue to be in discussion with these regulars as needed. There is no need to express glee over the deterioration of a thread.
Fourth, I encourage everyone to review the Rules sticky at the top of the forum.
