You can kill a person with a baseball bat and a gun

I have heard people say that since you can kill a person with a baseball bat and a gun perhaps those who argue for registration of guns should also argue for registration of baseball bats.

Does anyone have any data on the number of people who kill family members or people in the workplace and then turn around and kill themselves and do it all with baseball bats?

Since you can kill a person with a baseball bat and a gun can anyone think of why, apparently, not many people commit suicide with a baseball bat?
