Does anything about your apppearance suggest something about you that is completely untrue?

As a tall, long-haired bearded caucasian, people often get the impression that I'm a thug, when in reality, I'm probably the nicest one here. :D

The idea for this thread occurs to me as a result of a question my brother asked me today.

"Is that a team you support?" he asked, when he saw the "Titans" logo on my sweatshirt.

The answer, of course, was "no". I don't even like hockey, much less support a team. The shirt was a gift from my girlfriend's brother, and just happens to be the softest, most comfortable sweatshirt I have.

Is there any aspect of your appearance that people misinterpret? If so, is it accidental/incidental (such as the shirt, above), or is it something you do just to shake up the snow-globe a little?
