When I'm home, bored, and hungry and in a mood where I really don't feel "creative", I just fix a hamburger. It never seems to get old.

Take a minimum of 1/2 lb of burger meat and compress it only enough to fom the patty (don't mash it to death).

From there you can make it different by putting different things on the meat as it cooks. I usually go with coarse ground pepper and salt, occasionally applying one of several hot sauces I keep in my kitchen. I hear butter is good on a burger, too, but every time I try it just seems to melt away.

Burger = 10 minutes from fridge to belly.

What's your "quick and easy" meal when you don't feel like putting effort into it?
