I'm far from a historian here, but I think it'd be interesting to tell your own personal story in terms of these boards...
1. When did you discover the board?
2. How long did you lurk?
3. What first prompted you to post?
4. Have you had more than one name here?

1. Not sure of the date... mid 90's. When the board first opened, pretty much.
2. Probably lurked for 2 months or so.
3. It was in response to a thread that had already been started. People posting on boards are like people driving cars. They don't realize the people receiving their hatred are real people...

5. I changed my name from, JustinM, or Justin, or something similar to avoid harassment from Atomic Vomit. A/V was an extremely vitriolic neocon, who could have easily written for Rush Limbaugh although he was closer to Dennis Miller in terms of delivery.
