It is a shame that Zack Whittaker is reading the fake news from the Main Street Media. For example, at the next formal daily press briefing BBC, CNN and all the rest will be there. (And, not because of push back by the media.)
So no media is being permanently banned.
Second, the briefing in question was an informal press briefing in the President press spokesman's office informally called a gaggle. Meaning there was not enough room for the entire White House press pool. So the people there were part of a pool of reporters. They are supposed to share with other media people what was asked and what was said.
