I turned 23 today.

My mother couldn't be bothered to get me anything. She couldn't be bothered. I've not had a single happy birthday text from anybody. And I've sat here by myself, being ignored all morning. The dog who I share my birthday with literally has more attention and presents than me.

Tell me older 20 somethings, is this how it is for everybody come this age?
