I've been reading lots of post of various folks here and just trying to get an inkling into people's personalities (at least through their writing).
I've resisted the urge to just start sending private messages to various people. My thought is that unless I am asked, I should not do so. I've only done that once. Otherwise, I have answered people who have sent one to me (though they are few).
I would guess that it's not good form to start trying to strike up conversations with folks privately?
