Anybody here make animated GIFs?

Maybe this belongs in the confessions thread, but for the longest time, I've wanted my avatar to occasionally blink. So strong is my desire for this, I've lost sleep, can't eat (!), and have exhibited all manner of Tourette's -like symptoms, for which I'm considering seeking professional help.

But I figure, wouldn't it be easier just to make my avatar have blinky eyes?

I've poked around my Photoshop, and can find no mention of gifmaking. Can someone here direct me? And do our avatar limits even allow for animated GIFs?
