I was doing my weekly grocery shopping today and was nearly done when I walked by a couple that mainstream society would call "picture perfect." They were very 'abercrombie & fitch' or whatever.
She was carrying a small basket that only contained several bags of lettuce. When she stopped to grab a bag of chocolate chips, he raised his eyebrows at her with a look that said "what do you need THOSE for?" So then she started explaining about how she was planning on making cookies to take to a holiday party. He proceeded to roll his eyes and walk away from her. I just thought it was crazy. He seemed to be very controlling of what she may or may not eat. She was seriously like a size 4 and he was worried about some chocolate chips. So she put them back and caught up to him trying to smooth things over.
Anyways..I'm just glad I've finally broken free from the mental chains of mainstream rules and ideas of what women (or men) should be and look like
I'm done ranting now lol
