I was very excited to go to LB today, because:
A) I am in desperate need of some clothes to replace stuff I worn out,
B) it has been over 6 months since I have been there, largely due to financial problems, and
C) they came out with a new fit for their jeans that addresses different body types.
I was most excited about the jeans, because I always have the "gaping waistband" problem with all my pants. The old LB jeans which I have, actually came pretty close to being perfect. They only have a little bit of a gap, but....I couldn't wait to try the new ones.
What a disappointment! I was supposed to be blue size 4. Ha! They fit in the hips and waist beautifully, alright. Unfortunately, the thighs had enough room for a whole other person. I tried a size smaller. Nope, couldn't button them. I tried the less curvy red, which you are supposed to try if you liked the old style jeans. Those fit great in the thighs, but gaped at the waist. I tried a couple of different sizes, just in case, but no luck. Oh well, no more jeans at LB.
I moved on to some shirts. Every time I tried an 18/20, the button right across the belly wouldn't close. Every time I tried a 22/24, I'd be drowning in the shirt. Oh well, no more shirts at LB.
All I can say is WTF happened over at LB in the last 6 months? Did they go completely nuts with their cuts/sizing or did I turn into a different species? Argh!
